Restaurant Punakettu is located in Luosto, surrounded by the forests, fells and wildlife that define the character of the area. The project focused on creating a renewed identity for the restaurant, inspired by local folklore, northern nature and the animals that inhabit the landscape.

At the heart of the concept is a new fox character, reimagined as a symbolic figure drawn from northern stories and the surrounding wilderness. The visual identity extends into the interior through a large wall mural that is visible from the road, attracting attention and often shared online by visitors. An accompanying inspirational text and geographic coordinates were added to further highlight the connection between the restaurant and its location in Luosto.

Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere was refreshed with new pendant lighting, updates to the bar area and the introduction of a small in-house store featuring Punakettu products. Together these elements create a cohesive brand environment that connects the restaurant, its story and the surrounding nature.
